"Help Begins When Someone Cares"

Avery County Government is committed to helping those who want to fight addiction.

The County Commissioners, Management, Sheriffs Office, Health Dept., District Attorney, Daymark Recovery Services, Vaya Health along with many Civic and Church Organizations have been meeting to organize help to those who want it. The County has recently reopened the Avery Cares building at 636 Cranberry Street as a meeting place for organizations to utilize. Round table discussions are held the second Monday of each month at 11 AM in the Commissioners Boardroom and are open to anyone who would like to attend.
